Daytrips
Do visit the health resort Gerolstein, famous for its mineral springs amd mineral water factory and the Eagle and wolf park in Pelm. This park is located in and around the ruins of the 'Kasselburg'. A unique location for spectacular demonstrations with eagles, falcons and other raptors. The wolf feeding also captures the imagination.
Of course you can always spend a day going to Cologne, Trier or Koblenz by car or train.
Luxembourg city is also just an hour drive from Gerolstein.
